Trade negotiators from two delegations have resumed talks after a months-long pause, aiming to bridge differences over tariffs and export policy.

An official involved in the talks said both sides had used the pause to reassess their positions and are now approaching the table with more flexibility.

Analysts say tariffs on agriculture and textiles could prove the toughest sticking point, since both sides face pressure to protect domestic producers.

Talks are expected to run for another two weeks, though neither side has announced a firm deadline for a deal.
